NOISE PERFORMANCE AND VIDEO REPORT.

The Hum, as part of the Decameron-19 organised by Lia Mazzari & Ben Parry.

This action is based on the sound phenomenon of the Hum, which manifests itself mainly through a characteristic low-frequency, persistent and invasive sound, the source of which is as yet unknown. Regularly this sound is brought closer by believers to the sound of the trumpets of the seven angels of the apocalypse; The hum is also the interjection that allows to express doubt. The performance taking the features of a prank will be played once during 30 seconds with a bass and effects allowing Jonathan Naas to invade the commune of Altkirch in the Upper Rhine, giving place to an article in the news from the local press.
